Crab eggs
Crab eggs
Pulled this lady up the other day, full of eggs. Interesting we were in a spot that all we got were females, except one large male out of about 40 crabs. While not the most experienced crabber I thought it was interesting that there were so many females in every pot, not even any small males. Thankfully she did not grab onto the
pot so we able to gently release her.-

Re: Crab eggs
In my entire rec. crabbing life, I've never seen a female crab busting at the seams with eggs. Were you crabbing near the fertility clinic? lol

Re: Crab eggs
That’s pretty cool. Apparently juvenile and adult kings and coho gorge on crab larvae, didn’t know that until recently. So we need those for future crabs and to help salmon survive!
