I think it's June 1 for rivers.

Here's a link to the sportfishing regulations.

If the lake is not open year round, on the westside they usually open the last saturday in April thru the end of October

June 1 rivers, April 26 lakes. There are of course other little openers, but the MAIN opener is the last Saturday of the month of April for lowland lakes, which this year falls on the 26th.

The traditional lowland lake opener is the only opener with out a date. Its the last saturday in April and this is the BIG opener.

Then there is the March 1st opener

The April 1st opener

And the June 1st river opener

There are a few Selective Gear lakes that open on March 1. In the Spokane area, Amber and Medical are open on 3/1, but have special regulations, different from the general season lakes.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for making it impossible for me to work....every time I go online I'm on this freakin' site for a minimum of 20 minutes! Thanks for being soooooo informative....now I've got lake stock dates on my Outlook calendar to go with all my business meetings....thanks a lot!

Once you get out there, you'll never go back to work, fishing is addictive.
