It's past amboy, washington in clark county. It's on the a road called 54? I heard its excellent fishing. I always drive past when I'm going camping.

According to the WDFW site, it was stocked in June 2007 with 5,500 trout. Open June 1 thru Oct. 31. Limit 5 trout, 8 inch minimum size.

So, fishing must be pretty good during the early part of the stocking.

It was going to get stocked again june 1st but it is being delayed due to the pretty heavy snow that is blocking some of the roads up there.

the only bad part about the creek is the amount of walking. you pretty much have to walk the creek to get to good holes.

I am trying to get my "stuff" ready for the Kokanee at Merwin. I hope to be fishing there next month!

Merwin is wonderful fishing if you have a boat. Went this summer trolled ford fenders with a wedding ring then a bit of corn. MAGIC.

Yale is garbage.

Swift fishing is decent aslong as your fishing from the dam.

Canyon Creek isn't in about twenty miles past battleground. Its past amboy until you get to the old 54 road. There's a whole bunch of elk camps and stuff there. It's where the hillbillys go to drink beer, shootguns, and fish.

Kurt..... I am working on a deal for a better trolling motor for my old boat now. The one I have is ok but only 4 hp & it is direct drive, no rev. just speed control. The newer is 9.9 with forward, Rev & netural which will give me much better control. I have an RV at the Campers HideAway
and keep the boat there sooooo I will be doing a lot of fishing this season. maybe we could meet up & have some funnn !

Richard that sounds fantastic. I've got some friends that live up there during the summer. Wonderful place. Even looked what they had for sale campers hideaway. Little too expensive right now.
