Baitcasting combo

Post by A9 » Fri Nov 30, 2007 12:04 am

I got a baitcasting combo that I'd be willing to part with if someone made me a nice little offer for it. I only used it bass fishing a few times this year and it's worked well, I just didn't love using a baitcaster as much as I figured I would when I purchased this....

It's a Daiwa Procaster right hand retrieve...Spooled now with 12lb PLine Cxx and the reel sits on a 6'6" Uglystick medium action. In the picture it's on an Okuma rod, well that one snapped, never buying another Okuma rod again...Don't have a picture of the new Ugly Stik I bought to replace the broken rod...

Reel was $69.99 at Joes, Rod= $39.99

The new Ugly stick has been used 2 times at most, the reel has been used probably no more then 10 times this year....

Someone make me an offer on this...Could make a good present for someone, or yourself....

Great looking gear, but I've been told that if I buy anything "fishing" before christmas that I will be a dead man.

Someone make an offer I can't turn back. Really I don't need to make a big chunk of the money I spent on it back. I just want to liquidate it so I can look at a new spinning trout combo...

All reasonable offers considered. I'd rather see someone on this site take it then a random craigslist guy....

TTT
Seriously, some one shoot me an offer. Any lowball offers will be accepted (when was the last time you heard that?)
I just do not use this combo enough and would like someone on this site to enjoy it more then I do. Shoot me an offer. Anything...

Sam Kafelafish, make sure Gringo Pescador sees this. He has been looking around for one. I don't know if he has got one yet though. Shoot him a PM, I know he'd appreciate it.
BTW - The reel is backwards. Left handed retrieve, the only way to go. :clown:

I don't know if Sam still has this baitcasting reel. But it is a good reel. I have this model and would suggest anyone wanting to learn how to use a baitcaster to give this one a try. Wait too long and I'll have to make him an offer and I'll just take it as a spare.

My apologies Dave and anyone else. I should have mentioned this earlier. I was only in town for a short 2 weeks and listed this then in hopes of making a transaction before I left. Well, it didn't happen and I'm gone for another 9 weeks out of state. When I return, I will bump this thread back up.

Sorry folks,
