Boat / Float Tube/ Fish from off shore Needed

Post by bustin » Sat May 26, 2007 12:55 am

I have little money, but so badly am wanting something to get me off of the shore with my fishing. I have never tried a float tube, but am interested in it. Or anything for that matter. I thought about buying myslef the cheap plastic rubber raft for the time being, but that seems a bit scary to me.

If you have the money for a float tube you have 25% of the money need to by a decent 12' boat. Save your money shop until you find a good boat at a good price. It may take a little time but you will find one. $500 for boat, trailer and trolling motor is not unreasonable.

I have been watching craigslist a lot, but it will be next season probably till I get one. I just want something cheap I can afford now to get in the water.

Ditto what Marc said. I can't offer an "off shore device" but I can offer some time aboard mine!=p~

Hey Bustin! There was a pretty nice lookin 10' or 12' boat in one of the weekend trade papers, boat, trolling motor, oars, trailer, spare tire, nice little package - $850 IIRC. I've already tossed the paper, but I'm sure I can find it again if you're interested.

Happy to hear that Marc got you "off shore". Have fun and let me know if you want to get together.
