Absolutely amazing to say the least. I've been chowing down on them lately after figuring out what they were...
I don't make them, but I'm sure they could be made at home by someone who can make sushi....I guess it also could be done by using California rolls from a grocery store and finishing them off...
What are they?
They are basically a California roll, topped with salmon, then they pour on sauce that I believe is a Teriyaki/Thousand Island mix. It is also baked for roughly 10 minutes, so it's nice and warm for you to enjoy....
I've never seen them before, but if you all get the chance to order them, do so. You will not be dissappointed, even if you don't like sushi. A lot of people I know love these but don't eat any other type of sushi...
Here are some pictures from today. Camera phone, sorry for the poor quality/small image size...

Sirracha and mayo maybe. Spicy yet tangy. Probably a Japanesse spice with mayo. I am always hesitant when the menu says chef's secret sauce. It's usually good, but what the hell is it.
That pic looks freakin' good. Where are you getting them from?

Perhaps it is that fishnislife...It seems like a sauce that looks just like Thousand Island dressing, and I don't know for sure, someone just told me that...I'd be willing to bet it is what you are describing. It aint too spicy, tangy=yes.fishnislife wrote:Sirracha and mayo maybe. Spicy yet tangy. Probably a Japanesse spice with mayo. I am always hesitant when the menu says chef's secret sauce. There is this little hole in the wall Japanese restaraunt on the edge of my campus. They do a little sushi and teriyaki. Our school even has them come in once per week and set up a sushi stand in the cafeteria area, and they make all the sushi right there when you order it. Great stuff. All sorts of stuff, they make it....Lines are unreal....Gotta go right in the middle of class if you don't wanna line...
