Bucketmouth went 1.2 LBS on the digital scale,..very agressive Bass,..pitched 2 some cover about 7 times before the Bass hit the Swimmie,..caught on the Stike-King-Rap-Shad. Tossed this bait for about 15 minutes,..caught the Bass and called it a day,..fished for about 30 minutes total,..LOL,..not bad! Private Lake!

Caught this bronzeback @ Lake Tapps today(10-11-08)
The scale went 3.5 and then 3.10,either way I was very pleased. I know you folks have caught bass that would eat this dude but this is now my personal best smallie and damn it feels good. I might add"One hell of a fighter" I'll post a report in a little bit.

nice work kb. A PB always feels good. I need to ask you a question......

It was proposed to me a bit back. So, hands down, a 3+ lb smallie is one of the most exciting and fight-filled fish you can catch in WA....right?? Yep, I thought so. Great work, and I bet it was fun!
I have caught many fish in my life. The most exciting? The next one.....

Totally!,I've always appreciated the smallies for great fighters. When I hooked this dude,he was down deep,so I didn't get a visual and he took a long while to surface.I thought for a few moments that I had a tiger muskie. When I saw he was a bronzie,I wasn't disapointed.I knew instantly he was my pb.
Thanks for all the props everyone,I can't wait to get back out there.
Sparky-thanks for C&R,the fish made my day.....week.....month,you get the idea

PBs are always great Kevin -- To get more PBs, keep track of your PB on each Washington Lake you fish. I now have more than 275 PBs. True, some of them are not very impressive but still my PB from that specific lake. Tight lines, BJ

Here is my GF Susan's bass from over the weekend. Tournament fish weighed 3.52 lbs, and was the 3rd biggest bass weighed out of 23 quality anglers during 2 days of tough fishing. Fish was caught on a well used 5 inch Senko, after I had used the same senko to catch 2 smaller fish

Great fish! Looking forward to breaking that 3 pound mark now!
'course they don't have biscuits and gravy ... but if they did, I bet everyone would eat there.
