San Francisco Wins the Series
San Fran played awesome during the series. Texas played like the Mariners. Texas played like a broken down sports machine. How they made it to the series is even a strange one,but they did. This is one year that the American League was utterly destroyed. San Frans pitching is unbelievably great. To think we could have had Lincicum. He wanted to play for Seattle but our Japanese owners were too busy brown nosing Ichiro.Only two teams have never been to the series. Seattle and the newest team the Washington Nationals.Oh well. Maybe the M's can re-patch Bedards arm so he can pitch more then a half of one game.Another waste on our payroll.Until next April.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Tim looked so relaxed out there I'm betting he had taken a few hits of his "glaucoma" medication prior to the start. I was half expecting to see some Cheetos dust on the ball.
Seriously though, I think that the the lack of experience on the Rangers team was the problem. Through the prior 2 series they had not been behind the eight ball and looked like an offense that could take out anyone. However, a few bad plays and perhaps the added pressure of the series left them in a hole and the pucker factor took over and sealed their fate. The Giants became what the Mariners expected to be this year, a team with fantastic pitching who only needed to score a few runs a game to win. Unfortunately the stiffs we signed couldn't even eek out runs against opponent's number 3, 4 and 5 starters. It was as if we had a major league pitching roster supported by a AA club on the field, pathetic.

I'd watched if it was the Giants against the Yanks. Brian Wilson is a stud closer.
