You'd think this topic belongs in the sports section but the George Foreman I'm thinking of is a handy kitchen device. For those who use them you'll know what I mean. During the winter months I make adjustments in my cooking. The George Foreman grill is so nice for a quick steak, boneless chicken breast,or even fish filets,(I use salmon, cods, halibut and tuna). The grill sears tuna in like 4 minutes.Cooks a frozen chicken breast in about 10 mins. A tenderloin steak in 8 mins.Nothing really sticks bad on it. It just does what the oven does in way less time.Plus it dosent run on 220 volts like kit ovens do.
TUNA MELT
2 slices seeded rye bread
2 slices Tillamok cheese
1 can drained tuna
Butter or margerine
Lightly butter all sides of the bread.Put in drained flaked tuna.Add cheese on top with last piece of bread on top.Cook in the George Foreman grill till you see the cheese ooze out. Its ready. Its an awesome quick meal.
The same method only using pastrami cheese and some sour kraut. Its called a "Ruben Sandwich"
If you dont have a GF grill its time you try it. For under $30.00 its a very worth while kitchen tool.

George Foreman
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.
RE:George Foreman
I'll second that recommendation! We use the George to make bacon in the mornings as well. Keeps them flat, drains the grease as it cooks and finishes the job in about 2 minutes. The way it works on frozen chicken, meat and fish fillets is just awesome!
