Fish Creek Spinner's 2011 Sponsor message
We're happy to contribute to WashingtonLakes.com and again promote fishing in the Pacific Northwest. I think this is our third year as a sponsor.
It's always fun watching the fishing reports, exchanging PM's with members and checking in to participating as a WL.com member. You always have a lot going on with plenty of pertinent topic threads to enjoy across all forums.
Here's an WL.com member 20% discount code - WL111111. Its active through November 11th, (I just liked keying 11/11/11). If you place an order, enter that code during checkout to get the discount.
Here's a few links if you want to look around. Plenty of spinner pictures will be found.
Fish Creek Spinners website homepage
Fish Creek Spinners Blog - product feedback and monthly free spinner contest drawings
Fish Creek Spinners Youtube channel
Here's one that shows WashingtonLakes angler pictures that were sent to me. I've compiled quite a few.
WashingtonLakes FCS picture Blog post
We'll startup a monthly Kids Fishing Photo contest drawing again. It had great response last year, and maybe this year I'll start to see some FCS spinners in those pictures!
This year we've got products for more fish species. Larger spinners and spinnerbaits for muskie and pike, steelhead and salmon spinners, zonker spinnerbaits for bass and trout, trolling cowbells, and once again, plenty of smaller trout spinners for you to choose from. Mike recieved this years batch for contest giveaways.
We started a blog - Noise on the Line - where the Blog followers will be entered in a monthly drawing for free spinners. I'll make a post for each months prize assortment. Hope you participate, just something for you to consider.
There's a link off the FCS website's homepage to the BLOG. A Google BLOGGR app button records you as a Blog follower. Once you're recorded, you show up in the mugshots and you'll be in each of the monthly drawings to win that months assortment of spinners.
This week, while my son Ben was twisting out spinners, painting and wrapping spinnerbaits, I've been busy seeding the blog with some of last years videos and trying to bushel up some 'interesting' content (my opinion and its harder then you would think).
Blog posts will be used to share new product info and solicit feedback and comments on our product models.
I still plan to be an active WL.com forum member and add my two cents worth of opinion and 'value add'!
Enjoy your fishing season and Good Luck getting ready for Opening Day on your favorite species.

RE:Fish Creek Spinner's 2011 Sponsor message
Thanks John for your support of WL.com.
Last year in addition to the nice discounts and Kid's Photo Contest, Fish Creek Spinners provided us with spinners that were given away to members throughout the year. Those lucky winners know the quality and fish catching ability these lures have. I encourage you to take advantage of the discount and pick up a few to try. My personal testimonal is my FCS was a "go to" lure in my Alpine Lakes adventures.
Thanks Fish Creek Spinners!

RE:Fish Creek Spinner's 2011 Sponsor message
If you haven't been over to the Fish Creek Website lately, we've been doing some reorganizations and simplifications. As a result, there's still a few holes to plug, but I put together a summary if you care to click around and explore.
These pictures are linked to a model overview page that shows a large picture and a table full of thumbnails for the various colors in the model. If you click on the thumbnail, it will swap out the larger image and also set the Spinner Choice dropdown.
The categories over on the left have also been simplified to Ultralite, Medium weight, Large weight, and Spinnerbaits.
There's still more work to do on the jagged edges (Other, Walleye rigs, and new models, but I'm hoping the changes will make for easier navigation and be less confusing.
We filled in some gaps in smaller weights by up-sizing some components and also have some Walleye rigs, Spinnerbaits and a lot of new larger spinners for Pike and Muskie. Ben is hand-tying some Bucktails and we have a pretty good selection of colors and hook sizes available on the larger spinners. The bucktails are more buoyant then other skirts (property of deer hair) and cause some extra turbulence as they follow the spinners action.
Ultralites
1/12oz Nitromite (26 variations)
*New* 1/12oz Glow Armadillo (4 variations)
1/10oz Small Metal Armadillo (33 variations)
1/10oz Propeller Fire Ant (10 variations)
1/10oz Double Blade Hot Rod (18 variations)
Medium Weights
1/8oz Glass Armadillo (27 variations)
1/8oz Worm Props (10 variations)
*New* 1/5oz Glass Armadillo - Coming Soon (19 variations)
1/5oz Metal Armadillo (27 variations)
1/4oz Inline Angle Iron (29 variations)
*New* 1/4oz Glass Steelhead - Comming soon (16 variations)
3/8oz Metal Steelhead (16 variations)
*New* 1/2oz Bucktails (11 variations)
Large Spinners
*New* 1oz Dinner Bell Eyes (23 variations)
*New* 1oz Dinner Bell Squid (23 variations)
*New* 3/4oz - 1 3/4oz Special Editions (15 variations)
Spinnerbaits
*New* 1/2oz Zonker wrapped Spinnerbaits (9 variations)
*New* 1oz Zonker wrapped Spinnerbaits (9 variations)
Hopefully, we'll manage to get a Kokanee rig put together once the early season traffic slows down.

Been cold in Colorado, seems the Salmon don't mind!
Enjoy the holidays with family and friends.
I redesigned the webstore and built some fish pic slideshows on Picasa, many sent by Washington Anglers.
Integrated some Javascript, onmouseover and onclick events, even a few popup. Stop by and take a look and comment if you have a few minutes.
Redesigned web store
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I love these spinners for trout. They just plain slay them and I am happy to support a small business made in the USA.

Re: Fish Creek Spinner's 2011 Sponsor message
Thanks JN. The pictures you sent me in 2010 of that big trout didn't match the 360x270 orientation or you would have seen it in slideshow. I eyed it up a few times! Here ya go, I cropped it. What I remember was it was a black and silver spinner. If not, let me know which one you caught it on and I can move it.
There are three slide shows; ultralite, medium and Large, plus mouseovers by spinner showing fish caught.
Most of the Washington pictures from this year were Salmon and Muskies in Large category. Had quite a few Salmon pictures; Chinook, Coho, and Chum. A couple Muskies on Hula spinners. Not many ultralite trout pictures were returned.
Participating Anglers, THANKS for the support. Happy Holidays!

Thanks John for making a great product. I'm happy just being in the testimonial section. Looks like other anglers are having success with your lures too. It was the largest fish I had I ever caught at the time thanks to an orange/red armadillo spinner. I still remember the battle with that fish like it was yesterday. Thanks again Fishcreekspinners.

Re: Fish Creek Spinner's 2011 Sponsor message
I let Mike know I was going to take a break from the forum sponsor role this year and times about up.
Time for a new banner up top on the Trout and Kokanee Fishing Discussion! No more tumbling spinners.
I've enjoyed reading all the membership exchanges and fishing reports, and built some solid relationships over the years.
I wish all members the best of luck fishing Washington Lakes!
Cheers and Noise on the Line!

Thanks John. It's been fun promoting your high quality spinners on the site. You know where to find us if down the road you change your mind. Good Luck to you!
