Re: SUN GO AWAY, RAIN GET OVER HERE
i need to get some hens to cure eggs so i can start floating and drifting eggs. gah
Re: SUN GO AWAY, RAIN GET OVER HERE
Go to the Samish. Tons of ripe hens right now, but not too ripe for roe. It's totally worth it to make the trip if you need roe. I've been making a roe run up there at least once a week to get my bait fridge stocked. I ran out of fire cure.

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Re: SUN GO AWAY, RAIN GET OVER HERE
yea when the holes are that stacked I usually just let eggs sit on bottom and let it sit, because if i move it at all or even drift it with a float theres so many fish it hangs up on them and foul hooks um, so i avoid those holes, or plunk them if im tryingdonater wrote:fishenfreak wrote:schu7498 wrote:You need eggs to get eggs on the samish kindve a catch 22

Re: SUN GO AWAY, RAIN GET OVER HERE
+10 on the night thing, one day i will go, and there will be 20 coho in the hole, no rain, full sun, next morning, 100 fish in the hole, theyre moving at nightMetal wrote:No rain hasn't stopped me so far. Hasn't stopped the fish from moving up either. Where I've been fishing they've been only moving at night. The high tides we had this weekend with the full moon helped too.

curious to see what a good rain does at this point tho.
