I am wanting to go out today and tomorrow. I'd like to stick close to home and not as far as westport. Is edmonds pier a decent place to fish this time of year? Salmon. Lings. Something that will fight back. I do not have a boat, so it would have to be beach access, piers, etc..
thanks
where to fish?

It's a bit early for salmon, but they are right around the corner. Edmonds is decent, although it's been slow recently from what I hear. Trust me, make the drive to the ocean. Pier fishing the sound just doesn't compare.

Anyone fish Elliot Bay fishing pier? I drive by that place all the time and have never heard anything good/bad about it.

Re: where to fish?
During salmon season it can be ok. Iv'e seen pictures of lings and rockfish caught off of it. There's a bulletin board on the pier where people post pictures of their catches. I wouldn't eat anything out of elliot bay besides salmon.wlai wrote:Anyone fish Elliot Bay fishing pier? I drive by that place all the time and have never heard anything good/bad about it.
