What a great idea. Wonder if I would be as afraid of loosing it as I am of my underwater Camera?

Love it!

I'd even buy one if it was about 1/3 the cost :)

How much is a Zombait, and is it likely lost everytime a fish is hooked? For that matter, after a hard strike, does the Zombait wiggle to the surface (float) or sink to the bottom?

Better question: Do you have to worry about it trying to eat your brains...?

Seriously, I can see a good application of this in mooching.

At the $54 pledge level, what is received is: 1 zombait, 1 powerpack, 1 battery charger, and a look cool zombat stuff pack. Cause, what's more important than cool~

Unfortunately, the current production Zombait is to large for Salmon sized herring. Unless using Horse Herring (how large is a horse herring)?

On the plus side. A hook is tied onto the fishing line. A tag end is left to tie onto the Zombait. So, the zombait is not lost.

Unless you loose the entire rig.....

Yeah, this thing is sized for east coast fishing mainly. Im sure they could adapt a smaller size but the battery would have to get a lot smaller which would mean shorter run times.

I sent an email asking if they have a smaller version on the table for us. I'll post any reply if I get one.
