Brine Recipe

Post by iPodrodder » Sat Apr 05, 2008 3:03 pm

We have a Little Chief smoker from Luhr Jensen we pulled out the other day to smoke some trout and salmon. Somebody probably already asked this but we need a good brine recipe. Any suggestions?

I always use the recipes in the Luhr Jensen booklet that comes with the smoker. The important thing is to get the right sugar salt mix. After that I add different herbs and spices depending on what I'm smoking.Try the Luhr Jensen web site if they have one.
