Of interst to all the "personal" boat fishermen is the stich and glue boat class. some of the others may be of intrest too.
Normally the cost of the projects is less than what you would pay to put one together yourself.

Build a man a fire and he's warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he's warm the rest of his life!

What an awesome place. Man, if only Portland had a place like that. I would definitely participate.

If you have any interest whatsoever in wood boats, GO CHECK THIS OUT.
The facility could definitely use the support, and they have much to offer.

I talked with a guy this morning that was launching a very nice hand made, his third. He called it a "Big Mama". Did it all on his deck under the tarp. Very cool.

My sister-in-law took a class down there a few years back and ended up with a kayak. She said the classes are really fun and she learned a bunch, not to mention a kayak to boot! All for less than $100.00 Great deal! :-)
Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.
