Okanogan County’s Whitestone Lake is located about 6 miles north of the town of Tonasket. It covers 170 surface acres, reaches depths of about 26 feet and lies at an elevation of 1250 feet. The lake is about a mile and a half long.
Fish species in this clear water lake include planted rainbow trout, largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, pumpkin seed sunfish and brown bullhead catfish.
Public access is provided by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The large access area has lots of paved parking space, pit toilets and a good concrete plank boat-launching ramp that can handle most fresh water fishing boats. I launched my 17 food bass tracker there with no problem.

No boat launch and very small lakes or ponds...about 50 acres total area.
Plenty of parking- no overnight though. These ponds like all in this area
are good in the early season April - mid June, but die off in the heat of
the summer due to the shallow water. Rumor has it that these lakes used to
be stocked with Bass for competitons in the early 60's. Eric Cotter

Yale Reservoir (3,802 acres): This North Fork Lewis River reservoir has 2,023 acres in Clark County and 1,779 acres in Cowlitz County. Kokanee fishing is the main attraction. Shallow fishing for kokanee is best in the spring and fall; in the summer, deep fishing is the rule. Some cutthroat trout are caught near the mouth of Siouxon Creek, and Yale also has a few bull trout. All bull trout and Dolly Varden must be released. Boat ramps are available at Saddle Dam, Yale and Beaver Bay.
