Have been out to this small lake about 4 times in the last two weeks. So far, my worst day yet has been 3 nine inch rainbows and 1 sixteen inch rainbow. I love this lake. The trout fight hard, but bite soft so you can't play with them too long. This morning, a friend and I went out at about 7:00 am on a little 12 ft aluminum boat with a trolling motor. We landed 26 bass ranging from 2 inches to 10 inches. And 2 thirteen inch rainbows. All done in about 3 horurs. Had about 15 more hooked but they got off before we could get them in. Most of the bass were caught on the east side of the lake just to the left of the swimming area. All of the trout that I have caught yet have been smack dab in the middle right out in front of the swimming area. This lake has yet to disappoint me with the numbers, but the size of the fish have room to grow. But what more can you ask from such a small lake. Always a blast.
