Started fishin around 6:00 a/m and was pretty slow. Did catch one small one early and missed two more. Around 9:30 a/m I got another hit and set the hook, at first it didn't seem too big because he was swimming into the boat. When he changed and started to dive I knew I had a good fish. I got my first look at him and thought "man I have got to get him into the boat". New fishing rule.....ALWAYS KEEP THE NET HANDY. I played him with one hand and scrambled around the boat to uncover the net with the other. Finally netted him and he weighed in at 5lbs. and 19-1/2"
Biggest bass I have caught in Washington
