Fishing was very slow at first. Kept seeing huge fish jump and swirl but they woulndt accept our offerings. First fish was a nice size perch just drifting a rubber worm then we hooked a couple large mouths. Was up on my buddy when he decide he wanted to tie it up with a little fella. Reeled him up sp fast he came up out of the water and landed in my lap some guys trolling by said if its in the boat it counts. All I can say is payback when my partner looked the other way I stole one of his baits he had been using and next cast whamo big fish of the day on his lure caught by me. It was about a 3 lb large mouth. The guys who had been trolling by earlier were there again to see me dwarf his dinker so it made my day. All in all thought we caught 8 bass and to monster perch that fought better then the bass of same size.
