Fished from August 28th through September 1st. High temperatures and blue skies during every day except one. Fishing was generally slow most of the bright sunny days but there was one cloudy, cool day that saw a definite improvement in fish activity.
Caught a number of small bass ranging from 6 inches to 13 inches. The bass were caught in South Twin Lake. Also caught 2 small 12 inch rainbow trout in South Twin. All of the fish in South Twin were caught using a red wedding ring. The bass were shallow and the trout were deep.
Caught a 22 inch and 18 inch rainbow in North Twin Lake trolling deep, again, with a red wedding ring. Both of these trout were released.
I tried other lures but the red wedding ring was the only one that caught fish.
I would like to fish this lake in mid October when the days are cooler.
