In response to John Garcia. I hear ya bro. This lake really goes down hill a couple months after it gets stocked, not to mention all the kids, litter and weeds. Actually this lake is pretty good for stockers right after it gets stocked, usually the last week in March - 2nd week in April. On a nice midweek morning, baring no wind or rain, this is one of the most picturesque lakes, especially when the resident bald eagle is around. Unfortunately the lake has quite a bit of predation (see above eagle reference), fishing pressure and stagnant water all contribute to a short fishery. When the fish are there a bobber with a piece of worm or a maggot works good. Good Luck
