Well, the lake is bubbling with steelhead and it looks like every fisherman within a hundred mile radius. There hitting just about everything, black wolly buggers the best. I caught one ten feet from me with a woolybugger on light spin tackle. I just twitched it twice and bam he hit, soon on the bank. Some guy who looked like he first saw a fishing rod the day before yesterday, had his little boy fishing with him. He was using this big ol' ugly bobber and monster weight, with a hook tied on with a knot that I am sure has no name. He was using salad shrimp for bait and that guy hooked and lost more fish than anybody (do to the knot breaking). Every time it was the same deal, fish on, then fish off. This morning I hit the lake using Berkley steelhead worms on a true turn hook, I was aiming for steelhead, but the big fat trout wouldn't leave my worm alone. So I caught my limit in trout and left upset. What's up with that huh? First time I was annoyed at catching fat jumbo trout. Goodluck.
