Met my good friend Bob J at the lake for a morning of fishing. Bob in his boat and me in mine. I started out around the lake.
The water was dead calm with a little mist on the surface. I started around 0830 and didn't catch my first fish until 1100. Then in the same spot I quickly caught and released 3 small LMB using a floating rapala.
Further around the lake I caught another baby, this time on a jig. By 1300 the wind was coming up and it was getting tough to hold the boat so time to head for the launch.
Bob and the other hand had a much better trip, landing both a nice 15" and 13" LMB. He did most of his damage with a jig.
