I went to Lawrence lake for the first time ever and the boat ramp is hard to see when backing down but the lake produces I was able to catch about 20 bass 1lb and a few under that but they hit hard and fought like a 4lb fish then I was about to leave hooked up with a 4-6lb bass and he splashed and rolled then the lure came back and about hit me so needless to say I stayed past my alloted time and I tossed in the general area and before I knew it i had a fish I knew it was big but once it got to the boat I saw something I never imagined a 3 1/2lb natural rainbow trout caught in about 7 feet of water and man he fought and looked beautiful i gave him to my neighbor and pictures will be up in a few days to prove it (at the developer) went out again on 10/25 and caught about 10 bass again great lake just fish the shallows and avoid high weeds FISH ON.
