Twas the first clear day in ages seemed like. Myself and my Brother Fatboy Tim went to Medicare beach. we found it was open water so we gave it a try. We used powerbaits, and eggs. After about 5 hours we gave up , worst fishing we seen here at medicare beach in long time.. Absolutly no bites, waters getting higher, clear and several people fishing but noone so much as had a bite. This fishermans wondering were the heck, the million or so trout that been planted here went? Every year think theres like 150,000 catchable size released by Fish n Game along with Mardon Resorts help. Perhaps Theres now more walleyes catching the plants, then the Anglers who pay for there rearing? Anyways This Potholes Resevoir is getting sad for retired folk who enjoy Bank Fishing and catching Nice trout. Something needs to be looked into..perhaps laxed rules on Walleye limits and perhaps releasing bigger fish! Thats my report this go around, Maybe next time i will report a great spot!...take a kid fishing and practice catch and release
