The day before I had went to Steilicoom Park for a yearly season bite, No RB but did catch the biggest Smallmouth that i have ever seen come out that pond in the 13yrs i have fished it Fat 4.3lb. Today I tried my luck off the beachwood side behind the living quarters about 75 yards off shore, I was throwing!! What i call "BIGG TROUT BUFFET" two pieces of sweet corn, three salmon eggs, worm, and a small power nugget to hide the tip of the hook. bait hit the water around 9:15 cold, little rain and wind. drifted with the current about 20ft deep 45mins later something nipple!!nipple!!BAM!! 21 incher RAINBOW, Didn't fight hard at all. I was so amped my fishing partner kept saying all week ! it's to cold they wont bite give it 4 more weeks.
