This is not really a fishing report either, just a response to "Joe", regarding the downed tree's at Lake Armstrong.....

Good news, the tree's that were blocking the gate, parking lot, and ramp are GONE! A very nice fisherman with a chainsaw and some spare time did what the DNR or WDFW probably wouldn't have had the time or resources to do...chopped them up and moved them. I was up there this past weekend, and saw that they had been removed, and the branches piled up along the fence. The fence itself is still down in two spots where the trees crushed it, but I don't see why they wouldn't open the lake up for fishing opening day??

I plan on calling the WDFW and letting them know it's all clear, and would suggest anyone that likes to fish this lake do the same!

And special thanks to the unknown "fisherman" the local guy told me did all the work last Friday!! We should all try to volunteer more to help keep our area's clean and clear, or we just may start finding boat ramps with CLOSED signs on them, and who wants that?!!
