First time fishing here. Got there about 10:00am(little late-duh). There were at least 30-40 boats
fishing already- about half of them trolling with downriggers and the rest anchored up with
bobbers and eggs(?) We are rookies at salmon and steelhead fishing but we trolled all day with
various plugs, quikfish, flies etc. with no luck. However- there are HUNDREDS of FISH in there!
They were jumping all around us all day long. Most appeared to be steehead- many spectacular
jumps were seen. In the late afternoon we began to to see large salmon also- they were awesome!
Only saw about 6 fish caught, but heard that the best bite there is early in the morning. We had
to have seen at least 150 fish jump in the 9 hours we were there.
