Hit Meridian Sunday afternoon in my dinghy to kick off new fishing season. Planters biting everywhere in boats and off dock, caught four in the 8" - 10" range, power bait, worm or rooster tail, didn't matter. Lost about as many as I caught (must be rusty). Didn't really go for any trips this time, just happy to be back on the water. After all of that rain this was a long time coming.
