I saw that 5k fish were been planted on the 12th so i headed out to Greenlake yesterday afternoon around 4pm for a couple hours. I just did the normal routine on the south side of the lake as i usually have fished the last couple yrs. 4ft leader using green, orange or mixed color power baits, I drop the line, tighten'r up and sit and wait. after about an hour of nothing, i got a real strong hit but the little bugger snagged my bait and ran off. I reeled in, re-up'd on green power bait and threw it back into the same area, bout 5 minutes later i got a few more solid hits but couldn't snag'em, so i baited up again, casted out into the same spot and nothing for about another 30 minutes, i then packed it up and headed home.

this was my 1st time out fishing since end of last summer into fall. so, just starting to warm up and start thinking about the seasons game plan. still had fun sitting at the lake and watching the cute college girls jog by.. greenlake is always good for something.
