okay here is a fishing tale but i swear on my mothers grave it is true! i went fishing with a friend who just got a brand new set up with a shimano curado.i took him this lake to a little lake that i like to float tube for bass.it was pissing rain on us and nothing was bitting.i finally hook up to something solid. so i yelled for my buddy to come over and give me a hand. i watch him put his rod in the holder and swam over to help.after i he helped land it he look back and his rod holder and it was in the water empty.so to wrap it up quickly 3 weeks later went back and he snag the line using a caroline rig by the weight. eveything still in working conditions. so no fish but a brand new setup. good luck fishing
