Took a little trip out to good Ol' Bills today in Tillicum. Beautiful day to be on the water. Arrived late, around 9, and their were already about 6 people on the dock. Foound out they released the pen of trout last week since people kept cutting into it and taking fish. Anyways, arrived and no one was catching so decided to play a bit. Tried inflated crawls with juice off the bottom to power bait of assorted colors and around 11 or so finally picked up my first, about 14 inches and then soon after 3 more. All between 11 and 1pm using a six ft leader, below a slip bobber with an additional 5-6 ft of slide and char power with a worm. My bite slowed after that and another gent picked up a few and one guy next to me picked up a nice 3lb rainbow about 15 ft down. water is still cool, in the high 50's near bottom but the flats are calling my name for this coming week if the weather holds up for me.
Good luck all
and
tight lines
