Calling all cars, calling all cars. The word is out at Roesigner. I got to the Lake right at Sun up and was by myself for an hour. Hour and a half later the parking lot was full and the ramp was packed. Finished in 3 hours today. Started trolling wedding ring and worm with no action early. Tried rooster tails (pink one and black one) and caught numerous 9 inchers. Switched to power bait on the bottom (original scent/looked lime green I guess) and caught 1 9 incher that I kept due to hook placement and caught 1 16 inch Trip that ate my hook. While I was re-rigging that up I threw out a bobber and worm and caught a 14 inch triploid before I even put my pole down. As it warmed up I began trolling with the wedding ring again and caught 1 10 incher and then I caught and released a bunch until I hooked that 3rd Triploid. In all, kept 2 rainbows and a 14, 15 and 16 1/2 inch Trip.
Fun little chore bringing it in with 6 poles casting out from a very small boat ramp. Oh well, nobody being rude and we made it work. I've been the one at the ramp fishing so I know where they are coming from. A guy told me that Blackman's is hot for Trips as well but not sure I am going to go away from a Lake that is producing big fat trips anytime soon.
Good fishing.
Joe
