Went out to Black Lake for the first time. My GF Susan caught zero, beat her again ;) Fished from 7:30-2:30. Weather was rainy most of the day, and the wind came up around 10. The water clarity is not bad right now, about 4 ft visibility. I have always read this lake can get bad in the summer, I'll have to check it out again. I caught 2 bass for the day, 2.5 and 2.0 lbs. Fish were caught and released of course. I caught one on a spinnerbait and the other on a jig and craw. Water temp was 53 early, 55 later in the day. Good day on the water, took a few nice pics.
And of course I followed the new speed limit law for Thurston Co, 5 mph until 11am, then max 45 :) Check your regulations !!
