Arrived @ Dog lake about 0800.Windy,overcast.We tried still fishing 1st.Wind kept spinning the boat even with 2 anchors. Went to trolling. Mominlaw used greenwedding band with a worm & caught a few small ones. Wife & I trolled just a worm. with small slip sinker.4' leader.40 pulls.. Wife got a lot of hits & caught a few. I don't think I caught anything over 6".After about 3 hours wife caught a 2# trout.. quit for 90 minutes for lunch.. Went back out. all 3 of us trolling just a worm with small slip sinker..Same deal .ladies doing ok, I not doing well @ all.. Then Mominlaw got into a 2.5# trout, biggest so far this year.. I don't know who got more excited, me or her..3 people were fishing from a boat over by the rocks, using a bobber & 4' leader & worm. They limited out, but nothing with size. Another boat with 2 adults & 3 kids were still fishing closer to the hwy in the channel.. had a nice stringer with 3 real nice fish. they were using green power bait.. I love this lake, when wind not blowing. view is awesome. nice & quiet, not a lot of boats & big fish if u can figure what working @ the time. Not much parking for vehicle/trailer. You should walk down to ramp before driving down to make sure you have room to turn around.. Camp ground looked ok. Out houses were "nasty"..
