Decided to try steel for the opener. This was my first real time fishing steel. We started at about 7am and ended at about 8pm. The action was non stop. We started out anchoring in the middle of the lake and casting spinners and spoons everything worked as long as it was pink or bright orange. We then tried at a private dock and the trick was 18" leader with a couple of bright pink power eggs. Then we trolled the entire lake mostly using orange bead wedding rings and worm but like I said any Dick nite, needlefish, roostertail, krocodile,kastmaster, you name it, in pink or orange worked as well. Between the 6 of us we caught around 50 fish, but we only brought home 18 and they were the ones that were hooked to deep to release. The only problem was the fish were only 7"-8" and the biggest we saw was 13"
