Hit Crabapple in the early PM. A couple of folks fishing at the launch ramp with a couple. I put the float tube in and head uplake toward the Campfire Girls camps. Had a nice hit about 100' from from the launch, and landed a very nice 13" holdover. Released her to fight another day, and moved about the west end of the lake for the next couple of hrs without another bite. Not much surface action, I think it was too early in the PM, will need to give it another shot this weekend. Love fishing this quite little lake. Usually enough action to keep me happy, and since everything is C&R for me, I'm generally easily amused. Very limited shore access, but if you have a tube or pontoon, it's a nice little lake to spend a couple of hrs on.
