I went up to the Eagle cliff side of Swift Reservoir late in the evening and walked down toward the mouth. I only had an hour to fish. I wasn't completely clear on where the Special Gear Regs ended down from the bridge so I fished with spinners and a single barbless hook. The gold and black Panther Martin which almost always gets the fish (if they are there) wasn't working. I switched to a #2 silver and pink Blue Fox that I usually use for low flow steelhead fishing and got a hit before I could even get it spinning and landed a nice 12" rainbow. Soon after I hooked a larger fish that put up a good fight and came unbuttoned near the shore, by that time I had to head home. Fun time, nice lake. I look forward to exploring more of the bank fishing opportunities there.
