5/19/2007 9:25:00 PMBTW, a posting on a message board like this is just hearsay. Jake still has his right to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, which this isn't.

5/21/2007 10:20:00 AMTANWAX LAKE (Pierce Co.) CRAPPIE Last Sat. in Apr.-Oct. 31 Min. size 9". Daily limit 10.
Other Game Fish Last Sat. in Apr.-Oct. 31 Statewide min. size/daily limit.
This may not be a Court of Law, but if Jake would keep a copy of the Regs with his gear or at least read it before going to the Lake of his choice - he WILL realize what he was doing was ILLEGAL - although there may be STANDARD rules - those rules apply to lakes where there is no SPECIFIC notations for that specific lake. In this case there ARE specific rules and for crappie- the standard rule does NOT APPLY to this lake for crappie.
Muskyhunter & rubioloco are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT in thier voicing of illegalities of Jakes fishing - but Aaron is correct in the posting being "hearsay" - and it can never be proven in a court of law - however - Jake needs to be aware that while fishing, there are other anglers out there that WILL make a call to the Game Warden when they see illegal practices being done. Jake NEEDS TO READ THE REG'S and fish accordingly - or he could pay the price...losing rights to fish for two years would really be painful to a true angler.

5/21/2007 3:58:00 PMMy statement was mainly focused on his threat of giving out his username to the WDFW... which is a threat that will go nowhere. The WDFW will not be able to get any information from us since it would violate our Privacy Policy. Bottom line here is that we, WL.com, have to stay impartial. He might have broken the rules but he still has a right to be a part of our community here and not feel threatened.
Let's education, not alienate.
