For a long time now, there's been a little girl that lived next door that was always there when I got back from fishing. She would wait for me to get home and look at the fish I brought home. She is 10 years old and the biggest fish she ever caught was a 3" perch. I would hear her say when I came in from fishing, "Wow, I sure would like to go with you some time." My wife and I have been taking her to church every week for about one or two years now. So, this last weekend was our first fishing trip together. We called it "Katie and Joe's most awesume fishing trip." And is was. To make a long story short, we both caught 5 fish (one limit apiece), she caught the biggest fish, and she picked the most productive lure out of my tackle box. This was her first real fish for harvest, and we kept everything we caught. That evening we had fried trout, hashbrowns and corn on the cob. NOTHING BETTER. My dad taught me everything I know about fishing and I lost him in 1999. I'm sure he was watching us this weekend and approved of all that happened. The attached pic is photo proof of a prayer answered.
Our Father has blessed us all.
Thanks for listening.
