Fished from the pier between Mt. Baker Park and Stan Sayres Memorial Park from about 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm with my buddy Rian [sic]. I started off with a small trout jig with some Powerbait on the hook, switched to a standard sized Rapala minnow, then night crawlers, then a -10 crankbait. Rian tried night crawlers and a small orange and yellow spoon. We didn't even get a nibble. Three other guys were there when I arrived; all three left frustrated (not even a bite). Later, another guy showed up and had the same experience as us. He'd just come from spending an hour at Mercer Island, where he'd caught only a single 7" yellow perch.
But it was d*mn beautiful day to be fishing at least!
