Fished from around noon until 5:00pm. Trolled two woolly buggers (black and green) on a sinking fly line about 30 feet from the shoreline all the way around the lake. The north western corner was the only productive area of the lake for me, I got five bites there and landed two rainbows that were 9 or 10 inches each, both were caught on the green woolly bugger. On my way back to the boat ramp I saw a lot of birds swooping down to the water and a lot of trout on the surface. I switched to a floating line and tied on a chironomid emerger and did well, landing six rainbows in the 8 to 10 inch range in about 45 minutes. Skies were overcast with occasional rain showers. There were 15 to 20 other boats on the water when I was there.
