My two trips to this lake this year with BigBrown69 I would rate a 5 and 3, so averaging out to 4. Went in a boat both times, mostly trolling with flatfish and spinners and threw back any that weren't mortally hooked. 1st time was morning, sunny with clouds; 2nd time late afternoon, overcast. I would say the first day we averaged 2 fish each per hour, but just a few days later more like 1 per hour between both of us, all planter rainbows. There are tons of people fishing shoulder to shoulder from the dock who seem to be catching them fairly consistently fishing on the bottom, and in the boats the first day everyone was catching at will, with a noticeable slowdown today. Doing the math on the number of people, the rate they are catching, and the number of plants, I am wondering if the planted population is already being thinned just weeks into the plant. Anyway, fishing from the dock looks miserably crowded, but I'll submit more reports on trolling in the near future.
