fished this lake for the first time. My brother and I threw everything we had trying to hook into a bass. Fished the docks, the lilly pads, anywhere from 1'-12' of water. didn't see anything until we got completely around the lake, about 100 yds. left of the boat launch. I threw a 5'' purple flake worm, hooked up weedless, no weight, into a submerged tree. I seen about a 3# bass come out and grab my worm. I was too anxious to wait for him to get the worm completely into his mouth before I set the hook. about ten mins. latter We seen a good size bass, maybe 6 or 7 lbs. cruzin' the shallows, less than 3 ft. of water, but he wasn't interested in what we had to offer. ended up with just one little bass, maybe a pound, near the boat launch. Not a bad day of fishin', could have been better. It'll be a while before we hit this hole again, let um swim.
