Got to the lake about 5:45am only a couple other angler's there. Not much action 'til about 6:15 -6:30 and the fish started biting. My first fish of the morning was a monster, at least 18"+, couple of helpful angler's got their nets ready, and I brought this monster in close to the dock and my line got caught or rubbed the wood of the dock & snapped, fish GONE!!!. $%^**&^% Oh well, I hooked into a smaller one a few minutes later, successfully landed it. I hooked into another monster and the same helpful anglers grabbed their nets and I loosed the drag and played this one a lot different. I made sure I kept the line way from the dock. We successfully landed this monster, 18"+. Just as I was leaving one of the guys on the dock took a picture, didn't get his name. I'll be back with fresh line on my reel.
