Sunday 6:30-10:00 am, overcast and fairly cold for this time of year- about 48-52 degrees. I haven't fished silver too often, mostly I am at Newman or Hauser. I was surprised how treacherous this lake can be if you aren't too familiar with it. My friends prop took a beating on some of the rocks down on the south eastern side of the lake. Great structure to fish but the underwater dangers are hidden by a tremendous amount of milfoil. Be careful if you go. We were throwing chartreuse spinner baits and had a little luck with some nice bass hooked up on the shallows. I didn't see too many spawning beds but we did catch a few nice bass, the biggest being 3.5 pounds. There was virtually nobody on the lake, probably due to the frigid wind and threatening skies.
