Fishing on the weekend was decent. Most fish taken with leech patterns (olive color in particular). Used an intermediate Type II and slammed the banks where there was structure. Pulled a nice brown (19") from under a log that I had been casting to for about half an hour (saw a gentle rise in the immediate area). Three fish over 20" by the end of the day, but lot's of small ones (13-15"). Lots of takes with olive, ginger, and wine colored wolly buggers and bow river buggers (most of the big fish were taken on the BRB). Some takes on chironomids, but no decent hatch as of yet, some bombers were coming off the water. Heavy rains on Sunday. I think the weather needs to be more consistent for the lake to improve and a decent chironomid hatch to occur. We will see?????
