Well, you can't catch a limit everytime you go out... Unless you are either that good, or like to fib. Today was one of those days for me. I arrived at the lake at about eleven this morning, and fished for about two hours. I had multiple bites on Fl. Pink Power eggs and two hook ups, both of which I lost. One of the fish I had on felt really solid. I won't guesstimate on its size, but I know it was a nice one! There was a light breeze and it was overcast today. It's definitely a little chilly at this elevation still. It still almost feels like winter is trying to hang on up there. There was one small boat trolling on the lake today, and they had only caught one between the two of them. My day ended very abruptly when I got a lure caught in a tree. While trying to get it out, I managed to break my Ugly Stick in half:-( I was not happy about that at all! Well, sometimes that's just how it goes. I'll get them next time.
