Started at about noon in our little electric powered 2 seater, hitting the docks with jigs and tubes for bass. Several strikes from small ones...saw a large bass cruising the shoreline....saw another one on a bed and left him alone. Switched to fishing for trout at about 3:00 and we caught a couple of small ones bottom fishing. Decided to hit the docks for bass on the way back to the ramp. Threw a Senko in front of the dock and got bit. I set the hook and thought I had a good hawg on.........and i did......however it was a big trout. 2nd time this has happened....a large trout hitting a Senko. Got her in and she was a 19 incher.......3 1/2 pounds. Spoke with 2 others who had caught 20-inch plus trout that same day.
