We put in the water at 1630. We hung around the south end of the lake for awhile, waiting for our friend and his wife and son to launch their new raft. We didn't get any action there as we trolled around, so after they got up and running we headed to the the far end of the lake. It was a beautiful day, in the 70's I'm sure, and not too many people on the lake. The fish remained picky, as we found last time out.. we used powerbait mostly and just kept changing colors. We were able to come home with 7 decent fish for the pan. There was a bit of excitement on the lake as we were heading towards the ramp. Upon hearing some loud talking, we looked over about 75 yards away and saw a guy in the water, and an empty boat chugging off towards the boat ramp. We headed over there but one boat had already reached him and another had retrieved his boat so everything worked out well. Thanks to those guys that were there for him. By the time we got there they were already at the ramp. We did manage to rescue the guys chair though and take it to the ramp. ***NOTE TO SELF*** do not use plastic lawn chairs that are higher than the gunnel in, small rowboats!!!..............be safe out there people.
